Knit should hug, never squeeze - measure just behind the front legs, two fingers under the tape. Between sizes? Go up.
Chest decides it. A tee may end a little before the tail - that's the cut, not a mistake.
Chest picks the size, but a polo has a collar - two fingers must slip under it. Borderline neck? Take the larger size.
