Who makes it

Some things we design ourselves; some we choose, with care, from makers we trust. Either way, every product has a real producer behind it - a name, a country, an address - and you'll find it right there on the product page.

Under the GPSR, naming the maker is the rule, and we think it's the kind thing too. It keeps everything honest and easy to trace, so you always know whose hands your pup's little things passed through. ✿

Our person in the EU

Anything sold in Europe needs a real, EU-based person who answers for it. For malpetit, that person is us, under Art. 4 of the GPSR (Reg. (EU) 2023/988).

It means we check that every product meets EU safety requirements, keep the paperwork tidy, and reply to market-surveillance authorities if they ever ask. The full producer and EU-responsible-person details live in our legal notice.

Safe by design

Everything we make is meant for dogs, under a grown-up's eye, and is safe in the normal, everyday ways it's likely to be used. A few gentle habits keep it that way: keep small parts away from children, size from the chart, and check now and then for wear.

Tell us if something's wrong

If you ever spot a defect, a hazard, or any harm, please tell us. The fastest way is a DM on Instagram @malpetit.co, or email contact@malpetit.com. Send your order number, the product and size, what happened, and a photo if you can.

Every report is read by a real person and treated as urgent. If a risk is confirmed, we pause the batch, notify the authorities, and sort out a refund, replacement, or recall - whatever keeps everyone safe. ✿
