A lightly padded gilet in a blue and white gingham check, with a stand collar and soft frills at the armholes. It is lined with soft velvet throughout, closes with three snap buttons on the chest, and a metal D-ring on the back lets you clip the lead straight to the gilet. Light enough for late autumn, warm enough for winter walks over a sweater or on its own. Available in M, L and XL - check the size guide before choosing.

  • Fit - choose the size using the size chart. The garment must not press on the neck, chest or armpits, restrict movement, make breathing difficult or cover the eyes.
  • Supervision - don't leave your dog unattended in the garment - a hood, ties or decorations may snag on something. Take the garment off at night.
  • Overheating - take the garment off in a warm room or if your dog is panting heavily or seems restless.
  • Small parts - buttons, snaps, bows and other decorations can be bitten off and swallowed. Check them every time before dressing your dog.
  • Not for chewing - if your dog bites or chews the garment, take it off straight away.
  • Check for wear - don't put a garment on your dog if it has holes, loose threads or loose parts.
  • Skin - if the skin turns red or your dog starts scratching, stop using the garment.
  • Dogs only - this is not a toy or children's clothing. Keep plastic wrapping away from children and animals - risk of suffocation.
